CVDART Grants and Sponsors

Delivering Pet Food During COVID-19Our corporate sponsors and grants make it possible for our volunteer work for the community.  We are using these funds to support our education efforts, making sure we have the necessary supplies on hand, and creating Pet Emergency GO bags to pass out to our community to ensure everyone is prepared!

Since March 22, 2020 our team has delivered more than $4,000 worth of dog and cat food to local food pantries to assist with the unprecedented demand during Covid-19.  Check out the WCAX interview.

This first group of photos shows our team making pet food deliveries Covid-19 to food pantries in the area.

Other activities we have been doing over the years range from training sessions to participating in local events to educate the community about who we are, what we are doing, and how you can help!

Mission

The Vermont Disaster Animal Response Team (VDART) was established in 2007 in order to strengthen and support the state’s capacity to respond to animal needs in the event of a disaster. We provide vital resources and advice to pet owners, animal-related businesses and non-profits, local communities, and state agencies in this area. Read More
